This project included the review of their existing Domino environment, as well as the development and implementations of recommended changes to the infrastructure to adhere to “Domino Best Practices” for their organization in R8.

The overall project scope included the implementation of Domino, Sametime, and Blackberry servers in a VMWare server environment using R8, migration of the existing servers and users to the new server architecture, as well as extensive administrator training.

The project tasks included: Perform the infrastructure analysis; design and build the new architecture; migrate the users and applications to the new servers; integrate Sametime into the Domino Document Manager and Domino environment; prepare the environment for the implementation of the Enterprise Content Management architecture and imaging solutions; standardize server based administrative tasks; train the Administrators and Desktop Support Teams; and train the end users.
