The Infrastrucure Audit we perform is a
detailed analysis of all aspects of Notes/Domino in your organization. In
performing your evaluation, we will focus on four primary areas:
- Security
- Performance
- Standards
- Infrastructure Monitoring
Security
The entire security of your Notes/Domino infrastructure
will be evaluated from the document Author & Reader fields, database ACL's,
thru the Server access to the Firewall, as well as Web access.
Performance
Your system performance will be reviewed as it impacts
interaction with your Notes databases, This includes connections to other
systems, review of potential server bottlenecks, possible application design
issues, hardware performance, and Web access.
Standards
Both Administration and Development standards will be reviewed
for completeness and ease of use. The true goal of a set of standards lies in
having a system in place whereby it is easy to implement and maintain the
standards that exist, and as they are modified.
Infrastructure Monitoring
The Notes/Domino infrastructure will be reviewed as a dynamic
structure that changes on a daily basis. Our analysis will review those changes,
and how those changes effect the system. We will focus on systems that monitor
the changes, and provide alerts to the appropriate administrators and developers
as those changes impact their areas of focus.
We will inspect and report on each aspect of your
Notes environment, focusing on Policies, Procedures, Standards, and
Methodologies. Upon the conclusion of the audit, you will be presented with a
comprehensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each aspect of your
Notes/Domino environment. In addition, we will provide a list of recommendations
and proposed enhancements, where
applicable.
